Fonzworth Bentley Engaged To Movie Actress, "I Tricked Her!"

Diddy's former butler, Fonzworth Bentley, has announced his engagement to actress Faune Chambers.

Fonzworth recently shared details on his proposal to the actress.

While he's known for drilling gentlemanly qualities like honesty and forthrightness into his "G's" recruits, Bentley copped to deceiving his lady love about when he would pop the question. "I tricked her! She thought it would happen on Christmas, but I did it right before New Year's," Bentley told Us. Apparently, the day Bentley chose to drop to one knee didn't matter that much to Chambers as she accepted the proposal. "She said yes, and I was so excited."

Bentley had previously kept the engagement under wraps from the media.

Bentley, who kept the engagement a secret for months, told Us Magazine while speaking about the upcoming nuptials, "We are so excited! The wedding is pretty soon!" Bentley proposed to the 33-year-old Curious Case of Benjamin Button star in December 2009, just before New Year's Day. The actress was expecting him to pop the question that Christmas, however, she was shocked as he got down on one knee, presenting a 3-carat diamond ring from NYC's Ozuro Fine Jewelry. The romantic Bentley then ushered his fiancee to a lunch where both of their parents attended. "We all had lunch and then I walked them all back to show them where I proposed," he stated.

Earlier this year, Bentley talked about his delayed C.O.L.O.U.R.S. album.

"A lot of artists support and love what I'm doing artistically. But the labels didn't understand or believe. I went and played that record for, you name them, and I played it for them and pitched them my ideas. They looked at me like I was crazy and said it was impossible to get done...I had to give the game a phenomenal, historic moment," Bentley said referring to his "Everybody" collaboration. "That was the first time Andre 3000 and Kanye had ever been on a record together. I had to let people know that I'm here, I'm working and this is going to happen. It was still G.O.O.D. music, but I had to put that out to secure distribution. Folks think that when you're on TV, it should be easy. It's not...I'm working on a mixtape. I didn't want to. But I'm working on one so that I can get my art out there and give people something to ride to and understand what to expect from me. And I'll be putting out a DVD and the record at the same time. They will get Cool Outrageous Lovers of Uniquely Raw Style this year."

The singer is also known for being featured in various music videos.

Bentley has appeared in several music videos, such as Usher's "Yeah", P. Diddy's "D.I.D.D.Y." and "I Need A Girl (Part Two)", Slum Village's "Selfish", OutKast's "The Way You Move" and "Roses", as well as UGK and Outkast's "International Player's Anthem". He made a brief appearance in the music video for "Grammy Family", by West, DJ Khaled, John Legend and Consequence.

No further engagement details have been revealed as of now.
