Eminem's "Recovery" Ends Rick Ross' No. 1 Album Hopes

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery was able to fend off initial speculation of being topped by Rick Ross' Teflon Don and remained at No. 1 for his fifth consecutive week on the sales chart.

Although this represents Ross' first non-number one solo debut, the "Boss" still managed to land in the Top 3.

In this week's "Sales Wrap," Eminem's Recovery remained at No. 1 selling 187,200 copies. His latest effort has now sold 1,669,600 records to date. Rick Ross' Teflon Don opened at No. 2 with 176,700 sold units after its first-week in stores.

Initial estimates showed Ross' Teflon Don edging out Em's new album.

1. Rick Ross' Teflon Don: 188,816. 2. Eminem's Recovery: 187,968. 3. Sheryl Crow's 100 Miles From Memphis: 55,467. 4. Drake's Thank Me Later: 49,118.

Last week, Eminem's Recovery continued its reign on the charts.

Grammy-winning rapper Eminem's Recovery has shown no signs of slowing down as it scanned 195,500 records this week. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Slim Shady's latest offering has sold 1,482,500 records in one month of availability.

Ross celebrated his new album's release on Twitter late last night.

"no.1 album in the country..#TEFLONDON!!!!->http://tinyurl.com/23ykhvo," he wrote.

"salute all supporters!!#teflondon"
