Beyonce Survives London Car Crash, "She Was Lucky To Be Alive"

R&B super star Beyonce reportedly avoided injury in London this week when her car was struck by a taxi.

Details on what went down landed online Thursday (July 8) morning.

Beyoncé narrowly escaped being hurt earlier this week when a black cab collided with her chauffeur driven car in London. Reports say the singer was in a silver Mercedes S Class motor outside Harrods when the crash happened.

She was reportedly headed out for a night trip with husband/rapper Jay-Z.

Beyonce had an amazing escape when she opened her car door -- and it got ripped off its hinges by a London taxi. Beyonce had set out for a romantic evening in London with her husband. They were heading to the Japanese restaurant Zuma in the swanky Knightsbridge neighborhood for dinner when she decided she wanted to call at Harrods. But the impromptu shopping trip never got started after the smash between the cabbie and the door of Beyonce's posh silver S-Class.

A witness from the incident has shared a perspective of Beyonce's reaction.

"It was terrifying to watch. It all happened so quickly, the taxi came out of nowhere... She seemed very shaken and was lucky to be alive. A couple of seconds' difference and God knows what could have happened."

Throughout the week, Beyonce has been spotted shopping in London.

Yesterday (July 6) we thought Beyonce was leaving London but it looks like the singer still had some shopping to do in the capital. Bey was spotted out in central London doing a bit of retail therapy at Brown's, a discount designer fashion boutique. Although she was accompanied by her secuirty team and entourage, the singer was more than happy to meet some of her fans, making a young fans day as she posed for a photograph whilst out and about.
