Ruff Ryders' Eve Joins LeBron James & Will Smith, Signs Deal W/ Creative Artists Agency
Ruff Ryders' Eve has reportedly signed a new deal with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the entertainment and sports company that represents LeBron James and Will Smith.
According to reports, CAA will represent Eve in all aspects of her career.
Multihyphenate Eve has signed with CAA in all areas. On TV, Eve most recently guest-starred in several episodes of "Glee," and she has appeared on "Third Watch" and "Numbers." Her self-titled UPN sitcom ran from 2003-06. Eve's long-delayed fourth album is due this year, and she also is relaunching her fashion line, Fetish, with People's Liberation founder Danny Guez. The rapper-actress is additionally repped by Jon Shank at Azoff, Geary, Paul Management and attorney Aaron Rosenberg at MAFG. Eve moved from CAA to William Morris in 2002 and recently left WME.
The company currently oversees entertainers like Peyton Manning and Oprah Winfrey.
Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is a prominent entertainment and sports agency headquartered in Los Angeles. CAA represents A-list and emerging stars in movies, television, music, and sports. It is often cited as the leading talent agency, and its clients include Steven Spielberg, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, LeBron James, Peyton Manning, Miley Cyrus, Will Ferrell, Will Smith and David Letterman.
Last month, Eve had her tax issues leaked online showing debts estimated at $357,000.
The 31 year-old singer, actress and one-time "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" contestant, recently starred in two episodes of the show "Glee." The state of California filed a $29,059 lien against her on Jan. 29, 2009, with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds. The IRS filed a $29,439 lien on Jan. 12, 2009, in Los Angeles. The state of California filed a $56,597 lien on June 30, 2008, in Los Angeles. The IRS filed a $242,245 lien on Jan. 31, 2008, in Los Angeles.
The rapper recently denied being involved in a money laundering investigation.
