Lil Mama Accused Of Trashing & Stealing Clothes From Music Video Shoot
New York rapper Lil Mama has been accused of stealing clothing from a recent music video with Lil Romeo and the New Boyz.
Reports claim the rapper and her dance team stole multiple clothing items.
"Lil Mama borrowed clothes for a video shoot and she and all the dancers trashed all the clothes and stole the rest," a source told RadarOnline. "Some of the clothes were totally ruined, with paint spots and dirt all over them."
Additional details claim legal action may be taken against Mama.
The producer of the music video attempted to get Lil Mama's people to return the stolen items but had no luck. "There has been endless lying throughout this scandal that has now been labeled the "Lil Mama Drama" and the producer has plans to take them to court," the source added. "The video was made in conjunction with Lil Romeo, New Boys and America's Best Dance Crew."
Mama previously spoke with SOHH about joining television show, "America's Best Dance Crew."
"At this time in my life, when I'm dealing with issues like losing my mom and being away from my family so much, being on the road, I could've said no to a deal like [America's Best Dance Crew] but I said yes because these are some of the experiences that I might not be able to get a second chance at doing and I'm happy that I'm doing it now."
She was originally selected to appear on the show as a judge around January 2008.
MTV announced 18 year-old female rapper Lil Mama will serve as "Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew's" third judge when the new "So You Think You Can Dance"-like reality competition series premieres on February 7. Lil Mama will join the show's previously announced judges, former N Sync member JC Chasez and "So You Think You Can Dance" choreographer Shane Sparks.
