Kanye West Gets His "Good A** Job" In September

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West's long-awaited Good A** Job album has reportedly locked in an official September release date.

Based on Uptown Records founder Andre Harrell, the project will hit stores September 14.

"went to kanye new soho liar to here his album, the college drop out has graduated n To full grown rap star. black strong .Sept 14 yazee!!!," he wrote on Twitter this week.

"I herd kid cudi modern abstract funky Moon man 2 album also due sept 14thHe's bringing funky groove music backHey ho! hey ho!"

While album details are still scarce, footage of West in the studio with girlfriend Amber Rose hit the Internet earlier this month.

Here is what appears to be footage of Kanye, with Amber looking on, working on a beat in some remote studio somewhere in the South Pacific. Apparently that's a sample of a song from the musical Wicked? Never saw it. So could this beat be intended for Good A** Job? I'd say there's probably a good a** chance that it might. Although, since when does this guy allow this type of sh*t to get out?

Initial reports suggested the album was moved from a June to September release.

Our faithful HHU source attended the Island Def Jam Grammy U. event yesterday in Santa Monica and he learned a few things. First and foremost, it was said that Kanye West's album is currently slated to drop SOME TIME in September. No more specifics were given, but it obviously isn't gonna drop in June as previously stated. Aside from that, Jay-Z's greatest hits package will be released on June 29th with a brand new track from Jay-Z and Rihanna. Ne-Yo's album is TBR in September. And last, rapper Y.G. will be a focus of Def Jam in the near future.

DJ Premier talked about the sound of Ye's upcoming album in a recent interview.

"Well, first of all, if you look at all of Kanye West's output, he actually did a lot to bring back sampling and make it cool again, even though he's more of a mainstream artist" Premier explained. "But his new album is strictly hard beats and rhyme. He's totally done with electro. You're gonna be surprised what you hear."

No further details have been released as of now.
