Kanye West's "Good A** Job" September Release Confirmed

G.O.O.D. Music's Big Sean has confirmed recent speculation that Kanye West's Good A** Job album will drop in mid-September.

Sean also announced that his album would be released on the same day.

"September 14, 2010 My album Finally Famous x Kanye West album Good A** Job x Kid Cudi album Man on the Moon pt 2 RT #GOODMUSIC," he wrote over the weekend.

Initial speculation grew after Uptown Records founder Andre Harrell revealed the date on his Twitter page earlier this month.

"went to kanye new soho liar to here his album, the college drop out has graduated n To full grown rap star. black strong .Sept 14 yazee!!!," he wrote on Twitter last week.

"I herd kid cudi modern abstract funky Moon man 2 album also due sept 14th He's bringing funky groove music backHey ho! hey ho!"

Initial reports suggested the album was moved from a June to September release.

Our faithful HHU source attended the Island Def Jam Grammy U. event yesterday in Santa Monica and he learned a few things. First and foremost, it was said that Kanye West's album is currently slated to drop SOME TIME in September. No more specifics were given, but it obviously isn't gonna drop in June as previously stated. Aside from that, Jay-Z's greatest hits package will be released on June 29th with a brand new track from Jay-Z and Rihanna. Ne-Yo's album is TBR in September. And last, rapper Y.G. will be a focus of Def Jam in the near future.

DJ Premier talked about the sound of Ye's upcoming album in a recent interview.

"Well, first of all, if you look at all of Kanye West's output, he actually did a lot to bring back sampling and make it cool again, even though he's more of a mainstream artist" Premier explained. "But his new album is strictly hard beats and rhyme. He's totally done with electro. You're gonna be surprised what you hear."

No further details have been revealed as of now.
