Rick Ross Hits The Tweets Hard, "Last Night I Cried Tears Of Joy, What Did I Do To Deserve This?"

With the popularity of Twitter continuing to grow, Rick Ross has become its latest rapper to join the huge social network this weekend.

Writing in his first tweets Saturday (May 29) night, Ross reflected on the material success he has achieved from being a commercial rapper.

"My 1st tweet...last nite I cried tears of joy,wut did I do to deserve this?vacheron on my wrist,a year ago I didn't kno the bitches exist..."

"@rickyrozay What did you do to deserve this? You're this generation's Biggie! Respect to the Teflon Don!"

Although known for its social networking advantages, rappers Jim Jones and Fabolous recently caught themselves going after one another with subliminal tweets.

"I just seen another rappers video tht look just like me chain gang n scarf dam I'm sonnin these n*ggaz I gues my style might body ya lol wht," he wrote Tuesday (March 30) afternoon. Fab responded two hours later with his own Jones references including the rapper's 2006 hit single, "We Fly High (Ballin')" and 2008's "Pop Champagne."

"Oh so it's time 4 subliminal tweets huh?? Ok cool..#TellMeWhyUMad I'm mad cuz it's over for that ballin.... Brooklynnnnnnnnnnnnnnn," Fab wrote. "#TwitterRules If u wanna get at me, @ me... Last year, Kid Cudi gave his reasons for not wanting to have a Twitter page.

"I have an iPhone and I don't even utilize all of the applications on it," Cudi explained. "Just alone on an iPhone you can have multiple e-mails -- I have two e-mails -- text messaging, some people have AIM on there, MySpace, Facebook -- and I don't even have those things...With Twitter, my two e-mails, text messaging, and my phone ringing, that's just overwhelming. And you gotta think of it like this, what did they do before there were cell phones? Use a pay phone or write a letter. Or you catch 'em at the crib....I think I want to take it back to that. Sometimes it just shouldn't be that easy for you to get in contact with me."
