Busta Rhymes, Drumma Boy, N.O.R.E. and more have displayed their reaction and overall satisfaction with the recent peace calling between former rap rivals Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane.
Writing via Twitter, Bussa Buss paid homage to both emcees for taking a mature route on moving through their past differences.
"@orangeoscar Congrats on that Jeezy/Gucci truce big homie!!!," he wrote Friday (December 4) night. "@DJDRAMA Congrats on that Jeezy/Gucci truce big homie!!!Salute..."
Having taken place during DJ Drama's radio show last Thursday, the deejay has also spoken on the importance of the beef coming to an end.
"What if Jim Jones & Cam were to #squashthebeef Dipset!!!!," Drama wrote via Twitter. "We bossin up. Snowman here. Gucci on the phone HipHop History. Gucci & Jeezy beef is squashed!!!!!!!! God just used me as the messanger!! RT @SLEEP_TEAMFCC @DJDRAMA Good Sh*t Mane, Proud of you, I knew you had in you."
Nore thanked Drama for putting an end to the Jeezy and Gucci differences.
"respect @djdrama for doing that," N.O.R.E. wrote via Twitter, "even tho I never got a gangsta grill n my life hopefully CNN can get 1 but salute that was real."
Drumma also made a brief Twitter mention on the event of last week.
"Glad my guys Jeezy and Gucci ended dem discrepencies - we stick together it's a wrap - #FREEGUCCI."
Both Jeezy and Gucci promised to move forward and dead their beef during a phone interview.
"That's what it is homie," Jeezy said to Gucci, accepting the peace calling. "What's understood ain't gotta be said, man. We gonna do this for the city, so you keep your head up. Me and Dram gonna hold it down, bruh and that's what it is. 100. That's what it is homie -- that's what it is man, it's back to business man. Back to the money, back to the music.
