DJ Khaled Celebrates His "Victory" On The Sales Charts, "We The Best!"


DJ Khaled has shared his reaction to his recent release, Victory, landing at the top of the independent album chart.

Khaled also said his "All I Do Is Win" single is the anthem for 2010.

"I'm so happy to have my fourth #1 independent album," DJ Khaled said. "I'm so happy that my new single is on its way to be platinum and #1! Putting out four albums with incredible music is amazing! Shout out to all my fans and all the artist thank you for everything. I'm so excited about my single 'All I Do Is Win,' it's the anthem for 2010! We the best!"
The record earned its spot as the top debuting independent release this week.

Miami hip hop star DJ Khaled debuts at #1 this week on the Billboard Independent Chart with his E1 Music album Victory. The album sold almost 28,000 copies and was the #2 Rap Album (just behind Lil Wayne). Additionally, he has sold over 300,000 digital transactions from Victory.
Khaled's album also landed within the Top 20 releases for this week.

Def Jam South president DJ Khaled's Victory debuted onto the charts this week earning a spot at No. 14. The popular deejay's latest release was able to move 28,000 records after a week in stores.
He recently spoke on his role at Def Jam Records.

"I'm like the LA Reid of hip-hop, the Berry Gordy of hip-hop," Khaled told radio personality Jenny Boom Boom. "I feel like I'm the executive right now that's in the streets and going to take it to the next level, that's the goal, you know what I'm saying? That's the next goal. At Def Jam, we're one big team, and I'm an executive at Def Jam, office in Miami, but I gotta come to New York, do big meetings."
