Bun B Imagines Chris Brown In "Last Dragon" Remake W/ Rihanna, "He Would Have Killed This Movie"

UGK's Bun B recently shared his thoughts about the upcoming remake of the Last Dragon film and explained why R&B singer Chris Brown would have made an excellent lead.

According to Bun, Brown's height and athleticism should have won him top consideration for the martial arts action-comedy.

"Chris Brown's got the baby face, he's got the build," Bun said in an interview. "You can't use an Omarion cause he's gonna be too short. You gotta have somebody who's physical stature will match up with Samuel L. Jackson. And if none of this would have happened, he still would have been [Rihanna's] boyfriend...Let me tell you, he's not a little dude. Chris is 6'2'. And he's very athletic and once they would have put him through the ringers and taught him some of those moves...and he's quick as sh*t too. I'm saying this because I know the kid. I'm telling you, he would have killed this movie. I was never scared of 'Taimak.' [Laughs] I thought he could do karate but..."
Reports last month suggest Rihanna has already been cast into the film.

Rihanna has reportedly landed a raunchy role for her latest movie performance - playing a dominatrix in a remake of kung-fu cult classic The Last Dragon. The 'Umbrella' hit-maker is set to appear in a new version of Berry Gordy's 1985 martial arts classic, opposite leading man Samuel L. Jackson.
The movie will feature Samuel L. Jackson's as the main villain.

The Last Dragon remake is based on the 1985 movie from Berry Gordon. This latest edition of the movie is said to revolve around villian Sho' Nuff, "who squares off against a young martial arts student infatuated with Bruce Lee. Timed to coincide with Motown's 50th anniversary, the remake is headed up by Kerry Gordy."

Although not casted in the film, Brown will return to big screens next May in Takers.

The John Luessenhop-directed crime thriller, previously titled Bone Deep, revolves around a group of criminals who plan a major heist at a money depot, with two detectives hot on their trail. The film's producers, Tip "T.I." Harris and Brown, co-star alongside an all-star cast including Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Hayden Christensen and Zoe Saldana. Originally scheduled for February, Takers will now hit theaters on May 14. T.I. will be able to attend the premiere.
