LL Cool J Denies Appearing On Sarah Palin Show, "Fox Lifted An Old Interview I Gave" [Video]

Rap veteran LL Cool J has denied being involved in the upcoming Fox News special, "Real American Stories: Hosted by Sarah Palin" despite the fact that he appears in the show's promo material

According to LL, the program will be using outdated interview footage from 2008.

"Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW," he wrote on Twitter. "@stevexumba Fox lifted interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & R misrepresenting to public 2 promote Palins Show."
Based on reports, LL's face is shown during the commercial.

A promotion for the show - called "Real American Stories: Hosted by Sarah Palin" - features an announcer saying, "They're famous faces. Now hear the real story behind their incredible lives." In addition to LL Cool J, country music star Toby Keith and former General Electric CEO Jack Welch are pictured.
The show is scheduled to debut tomorrow (April 1) evening on Fox News.

"Real American Stories" is scheduled to have its premiere on Fox News Channel on Thursday night. On its Web site, Fox News said the show would profile people who have "given back, given all and never given up." Among the guests that Fox News is announcing in an advertisement for the first episode are the country musician Toby Keith; Jack Welch, the former chairman of General Electric; and LL Cool J, the rapper and star of "NCIS: Los Angeles."
Last year, LL wrote an open letter to United States president Barack Obama.

"Dear President Obama, OK, so the fanfare has come and gone, the cheering has quieted down and now you are our new president. The next chapter of your life has begun. The toughest decisions you will ever have to make lie in front of you. Decisions that will require you to choose between integrity and necessity, enact the promises made to millions of people and recognize a change in perspective that will sometimes make those promises impossible to keep. Only you will be able to make those choices. But millions of others will live or die based on them. No pressure (smile)."
