Ludacris Exposed As Dr. Dre Ghost-Writer On "Detox" Song, "Not Sure How This Leaked" [Audio]

A Detox track called "OG's Theme" has leaked online and features Ludacris rhyming in Dr. Dre's voice.

The Dre reference song is the latest music which will likely make the Doc's long-awaited Chronic 2001 follow-up.

"With 30 mil sold, where's the f*cking gratitude," Luda raps in Dre's voice. "I see all these little BG's/Mean muggin' on the screen trying to be me/I'm much more than 6-4's/Gun talk, weed smoke and sick h*es/That's why most of them have come and went/I just re-coupe, re-create and re-invent/N*gga welcome to the West Coast/We the home of the jackers and the best smoke/And ain't no n*gga better than/Doc Dre, I'm a 20 year veteran..."

The track landed online via an unknown leak over the weekend.

Luda is back with a new track and the crazy thing about it is it's a Dr. Dre Detox reference track. It's called "OG's Theme" and it's fire, no lie Luda should do more tracks like these. Looks like Dre is looking at the south for help as you can re-call the shit load of tracks by T.I. for Dre. Since it leaked I doubt Dre will use it but at least we have it now.

Luda resorted to his Twitter and responded to the fans' reactions to "OG's Theme."

RT: LUDACRIS - "OG'S THEME" (REFERENCE FOR DR DRE'S DETOX) IS PRODUCED BY@JCARDIM!!! http://tinyurl.com/n73yzt Not sure how this leaked," he wrote. "RT: it's funny hearing you rap as dre.. sick track dude.(via@jrobinsonn) Ha! It was fun trying. RT: song written for dre has actually been the best joint written for Dre that has leaked for detox.. (via @prsvr) Appreciated."

Dre previously leaked a Detox snippet via a Dr. Pepper commercial last spring.

"Scientific test prove when you drink Dr. Pepper slow, the 23 flavors taste even better. For me, slow always produces a hit," Dr. Dre says in the commercial, before stepping behind a DJ booth, putting on a pair of his own signature "Beats" headphones and slowing down the sped-up techno song that's playing by placing a can of Dr. Pepper over the record. The new track comes on, the party goes wild and Dre states "Slower is better -- trust me, I'm a doctor." Other spots in the campaign feature Dr. J, "Dr. Frasier Crane" and Gene Simmons (aka "Doctor Love").
