The Game: A History Of Beef Pt.5

THE GAME VS BIG FASE 100 (2005)
• Cause: Game’s half brother and manager attacked the rapper for his selfishness and fabricated gangster image. Game responded saying that he had been extorted out of over $1.5 million.

The brothers each release statements on their fallout. [LINK]

Big Fase 100’s “Great Expectations (Letter To Game)” video.

• Effect: Game and Fase appeared on Rap City to announce that they had squashed their beef, but the peace didn’t last. Fase dropped that corny ass video just a few months ago.

THE GAME VS GLASSES MALONE (2006)
• Cause: When Game and Big Fase 100 had a falling out, the less famous brother began to promote Glasses Malone as his next big artist.

• Effect: Game told fans “don’t believe the hype” about Glasses Malone being signed to Black Wall Street Records. That’s all.

THE GAME VS EMINEM (2008)
• Cause: The Game raps: “All the pictures of me and Em, I burned them / So it ain’t no proof that I ever walked through 8 Mile / And since it ain’t no Proof, I’ll never walk through 8 Mile” on the original version of “My Life” from LAX.

• Effect: The Game decided to diss Jesse Jackson instead and changed the lyrics to: “I ain’t no preacher, but here’s my Erick Sermon / So eat this black music and tell me how it taste now / And fuck Jesse Jackson ’cause it ain’t about race now.” Em didn’t respond.

THE GAME VS JA RULE (2005 - 2007)
• Cause: Ja Rule’s career was pretty much dead by the time Game start running with G-Unit, but he still got his jab in, claiming the “I don’t do button up shirts or drive Maybachs” line on “Westside Story” was aimed at Ja, not Jay. Yeah, right.

Rick Ross feat. The Game, Ja Rule, and Fat Joe “Mafia Music (Remix)”

• Effect: No high profile diss records ever came of this feud and the two actually wound up collaborating on Ja’s never-released 2007 album The Mirror and Rick Ross’ “Mafia Music” remix earlier this year.

THE GAME VS JIMMY IOVINE (2006 - 2009)
• Cause: After disputing with 50 Cent for over a year, Iovine moved The Game from Aftermath to Geffen, a move that supposedly ended his contractual obligations to G-Unit, but also signaled the tension within Interscope.

The Game feat. Swizz Beatz “Scream On ‘Em”

• Effect: Game’s most direct shot at Iovine was on the third verse of “Scream On ‘Em” where he mentions riding in the “‘07 Bugatti with Jimmy Iovine’s secretary” along with threats to “run in the building.” Earlier this month, the rapper apologized to Jimmy Iovine for his antics. So professional.

BONUS: THE GAME VS GREENSBORO POLICE (2005)

• Cause: The rapper was videotaping in the mall, wearing a Halloween mask, using profanity, and refusing to leave when asked by security while recording footage for his Stop Snitchin’, Stop Lyin’ DVD/mixtape.

• Effect: While giving a fan an autograph, The Game was pepper sprayed and taken down by Greensboro Police. The incident resulted in an arrest and charges for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
