Swizz Beatz Calls Drake's "Thank Me Later" Collabos Unpredictable [Video]

Producer Swizz Beatz said fans should expect the unexpected from his work on Drake's upcoming Thank Me Later album.

Beatz also touched on the Young Money artist's desire to record original music with him.

"The collaboration with me and Drake, expect the unexpected," Beatz said in an interview. "It's not something you can predict. Both of the joints are not something that you can predict. It's like a very unique combination and he's a very unique artist so it's like when you get somebody that's open-minded, they don't want something that I already did or compare it to something that I already have on the radio which made it a very clear lane for me and Drake to collaborate the records that we did. The features on the track? It's crazy. You're gonna be like, 'What? Who? When? Why? How?'"
Drake has also talked about the importance of his "Over" single.

"Initially it was a warm-up record," he added of "Over." "I love the song. I love the message in the song. It's funny, because 'Over' is the fourth song on the album and it's the turning point in the album. It's like, you get three songs of me sort of trying to paint the picture of what the last year has been like for me -- trying to fill you in, almost let you into my world as much as I can. 'Over' is that moment where you're almost worried on the album. 'Is this kid about to ... ? What's happening? Is he changing?' I wanted that to come out first. I wanted people to be a little nervous. This whole journey could have changed me drastically. Fortunately I'm able to step out of my shoes and reflect on it and give you some great music. 'Over' is a great alter-ego moment. It's the dark side of things and I really wanted that to come out first."
Drake's duet with The-Dream leaked online last month.

A new song by Drake featuring The-Dream is leaked. Titled "Shut It Down", the piece is produced by Noah "40" Shebib and Omen who also co-produced Alicia Keys' duet track with Drake, "Un-thinkable (I'm Ready)". The slow-jam song is reportedly not the final version but has been confirmed to be listed in the Canadian rapper's debut album "Thank Me Later".
His debut album is set to be released in June.

You'll now have to thank Drake a few weeks later than expected. The 23 year-old Canadian rapper/singer's long-awaited debut album, Thank Me Later, is now due to be released on June 15.
