Fabolous Gets "Raw" In New Music Vid, "Story Line Starts W/ Me Working In A Meat Market"
New York rapper Fabolous has announced plans to drop another music video from his new mixtape, There Is No Competition Part 2.
According to Fab, who recently released a video for the mixtape track "Body Ya," the new visual was filmed in his hometown.
"I just shot 'I'm Raw'," he revealed in an interview this week. "Since we were talking about 'raw,' we went to a meat house in Brooklyn. It's also a story line, same as 'Body Ya.' The story line starts off with me working in a meat market. Definitely a great video. It's a great visual for a project that was a mixtape project. I wanted to expand it a little more."
The rapper recently talked about linking with Nicki Minaj and Cam'ron for his underground effort.
"Nah, timing was the hardest part," Fab explained about his delayed release. "You know I have a very crazy schedule, I have a lot of shows -- I wanted to take time out and make time to do this album, to do this mixtape, I keep referring to it as an album because that's what it felt like...I chose the opportunity to work with some of the people I didn't get to work with before like Nicki and Cam. They make good music, I make good music and you put good music and good music together and you make great music. I think they were helpful in making the mixtape as well, it's a great project...I put a lot of hard work into it."
Released last month, the mixtape features 20 records with multiple guest features.

Fab recently said the mixtape was scheduled to come out in February.
"The mixtape is coming at the end of this week," Fab told radio host Angie Martinez. "It was supposed to have came and I gave a date but people have been killing me but I really wanted to make sure I put good material on it and now people started coming. I just got a verse from Nicki Minaj, I got something from Trey Songz, Jadakiss, so I added a couple things and people should just [be patient.] This could possibly have been an album -- but it's over other people's beats, too. Some of it is original joints but some is over, I did 'Say Something,' I did 'All The Way Turnt Up,' I did the Waka Flocka beat, few joints and then a few originals, mixed it up."
