Rick Ross Vibed With Stacey Dash For "Super High" Video, "I Take My Hat Off To Her"

Southern rapper Rick Ross recently talked about riding alongside Stacey Dash in his new music video, "Super High."

In addition to Dash, Ross credited director F. Gary Gray for the video's movie-like scenery.

"It's a real pivotal point," Ross said in an interview. "Just for me to be sitting on a Harley Davidson...It was a much bigger video than I have done previously...Just to be sitting on the mountaintop, my arm around Stacey Dash. I'm burning in between takes...She is most definitely a beautiful young lady...She's also a class act. She was so youthful, vibing, having a good time. So I take my hat off to her. I wanted to do something different, so I put an actress into it. Someone who I was a fan of, someone I wanted to meet. I threw a name at [F. Gary], he texted the number real quick."

Last month, Dash revealed how she became involved in the rapper's new visual.

"F. Gary Gray called me and he's a director that I wanted to work with for a very long time. He's like 'Look I'm doing this music video, it's based around Harley Davidson and it's going to be amazing, will you do it with me?' I said, 'Of course! You're F. Gary Gray! I love your vision, yes! We shot it Sunday and Monday atPalm Desert--both 18-hour workdays. I play the video vixen. I'm in a Lamborghini and he pulls up on me. I'm not having a good time with my man and he's like 'Come with me.' There's about 20 guys in Harley bikes surrounding me. I'm like 'Heck yeah, I'm getting on the bike!'"

The music video debuted on the Internet last week.

Ne-Yo joins the motorcycle gang and F. Gary Gray returns to direct his first music video since Jay-Z's "Show Me What You Got" in 2006. Ross can thank his new manager Diddy for that connect.

Ross' upcoming album, Teflon Don, will feature guest appearances from Jay-Z, Kanye West, T.I. and more.

Along with Ne-Yo, who appears on the first official single for the disc, "Super High," the Miami Boss also recruited such hip-hop heavyweights as Jay-Z, Kanye West, T.I. and Drake. Known for his collaborations with the R&B elite (John Legend, The-Dream), Ross's new LP also boasts features from Raphael Saadiq and Chrisette Michele. Producers on the project include DJ Clark Kent, the Olympics and past co-conspirators J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, the Runners and the Inkredibles.

Stacey Dash Says "House Arrest" Movie W/ Game Got Dumped, "They Didn't Have Enough Money"

Actress Stacey Dash has revealed her House Arrest film, which co-starred Game, ran out of financial funds and will likely not be released.

While not offering too many details, Dash said the movie did finish its recording process.

"We did a movie together [a year ago]--that I'm pretty sure is not coming out--and became friends," Dash said about befriending Game. "I don't even want to talk about, if it comes out great, if it doesn't fine. Unfortunately, they didn't have enough money to make a movie and they tried. We did finish I think. It was not a very...I don't know if it's coming out."
Reports of their movie made headlines last summer.

The sequel to 1999's Belly starring West Coast rapper The Game skipped a theatrical release and hit retail stores yesterday (August 12). Titled Belly 2: Millionaire Boyz Club, the film stars the Black Wall Street leader alongside actress Shari Headley and is based in Compton, California. It places Game as "G," a recently released convict who gets back in to the drug game, who meets Headley's character, Alexis, who is secretly an undercover DEA agent. Both withholding the truth about their actual occupations, their love relationship takes a dramatic turn as a twist is found at the end of the movie.
Preparing for the release of his R.E.D. Album, Game dropped a Red Room mixtape last week.

"The mixtape is like an album," Game said in an interview. "DJ Skee is hosting it and he hit me like 20 minutes ago and was like 'Wow,' and I'm like 'Wow what?' and he's like, 'The sh*t you gave me is crazy. I just finished downloading everything and am starting to water it.' He's like 'It's crazy,' and that's how mixtapes should be. I'm glad that '400 Bars' is the featured song off of there and everybody loves it because now I can follow that up with hood smashes."

Actress Stacey Dash has revealed some of rapper Game's unknown characteristics including his hidden intelligence and articulate mannerisms.

Talking about the "Shake" music video she did with him, Dash gave the down low on Game.

"Game is highly intelligent. He's even educated. We have all kinds [of talks], from politics, to finances, to life, to religion. He's an intelligent man. That's what I hope gets exposed about him. Which is why I did my part in his video. I want him to expose that side of himself. He says everything is about timing. He's just such an intelligent man and no one knows. He's articulate as well. Last January, Game questioned the American education system via Twitter.

"After you learned how to read & do addition, what else did we need school for that we use in everyday life as an adult ?," he wrote Monday (January 25). "Cuz I swear I can't remember half the sh*t in them History books, my writin still sloppy, & I aint seen a microscope since science class ! well, sex education was MOST definitely appreciated !...I think school was a government's plot to keep track of us & program our lives. up at 7, out at 3pm five days a week. caught in the matrix but as a parent, I just dropped my kids off @ school & ah getta break from em' .. them 2 dudes is animals ! The rapper is currently putting together his new solo effort, The R.E.D. Album.

"Nah man, it's just a package deal, you should go and support hip-hop, go get Thank Me Later and go grab R.E.D. and you good," Game said in an interview. "You know you're good, then the next week you come back and buy Eminem, great. June is gonna be a big month. So no, it's no competition. Everything don't gotta be a competition and we're not even the same type of [artist,] we're not in the same lane. I respect what he does and I talked to him before, he's a fan of mine so we'll just keep it like that and put it out, people will go and buy them and who cares who's number one, number two, it don't make no sense to me because I've been around and sold millions of records already. He also recently revealed what some of the production his album will consist of.

"I feel great about this album," he said in an interview. "It's back full-force Aftermath and I'm conjoined with Star Trak. I got this colorful movement over here where it's beautiful music on this side [with Star Trak] -- then when I need to go dark or super grown and sexy, I got Dre over here. The combination is crazy -- mixed in with a Cool & Dre track and RZA track and all the sh-- I been doing. The only person I'm upset I didn't work with on this album is DJ Premier. I feel his sh-- would have been perfect for this all-star producer cast that I have. One Premier track would have did me just fine. I would have murdered that sh--. But we ain't get it in, 'cause he was doing a whole bunch of sh-- for Christina Aguilera. I'm just Game. So I gotta just wait for the next album." (MTV)

Gary Gray. I reached out to my homie, he just came aboard to direct 'Super High.' This is gonna be special. It means a lot to me. Coming back for my fourth LP. My first three #1's. My first album #1, second #1, third. We following up with this one. We coming with a lot of big surprises. You gotta stay tuned, though. You gotta stay tuned."

Rick Ross has been dropping more freestyles than Lil Wayne lately, but the Bawse is finally coming clean with the first official single from his fourth album Teflon Don, due June 29.
