Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, Cool & Dre Welcome LeBron James To Miami Heat

Miami's Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, Cool & Dre have shared their reactions to former Cleveland Cavaliers all-star LeBron James announcing his move to the Heat.

Writing via Twitter, Ross also revealed his surprise.

"Woooooowwwwww," he wrote last night.

"Lebron coming too the release party!!!king of diamonds!!!july20"

"Miami the spotlight of the world!!!!"

"Courtside seats went up 30stacks in 30mins!!!!!got 5 anyway!!!!"

Khaled reminded fans of his loyalty to his hometown team.

"RT @COOLANDDRE: after 9pm 2nite, will we see a 6 foot 9 point guard passing the rock to Bosh and Wade..."

"MIAMI HEAT!!!! WE THE BEST!! All WE do is win!!"

Production duo Cool & Dre said they predicted James' destination would be with the Heat.

"can i get some props for predicting Bron coming to Miami for the past couple months. i dnt wanna start going back to my old tweets."

"u know what i'ma do, i think i'm gonna retweet some of your old replies...there were some that was airing me out saying i was krazy."

"@dwadeofficial My bro been ridin with u for 7 years str8. seen alot of ups & downs. From Finals MVP to 16 win season. No1 deserves this more."

LeBron James' made his long-awaited decision to join the Heat last night.

In the here and now, LeBron James probably did the best thing for himself. By joining Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami to form an NBA superpower squad, James, who announced Thursday night that he was bolting Cleveland via free agency, will more than likely win a championship -- or two or three -- sooner rather than later. And ultimately, that's what James so desperately wants after seven "failed" seasons with the Cavaliers.
