Drake Says Kanye West's New Album Will "Scare & Inspire" Him [Video]

Drake has said he hopes Kanye West's upcoming Good A** Job album will give him a reason to be scared and inspired.

Drake said West's new album will also motivate his Thank Me Later follow-up.

"I'm very much looking forward to the Kanye West album because I need to be scared and inspired for my second joint," Drake to radio personality Funkmaster Flex. "That ['Power'] record just had to happen. Kanye's a genius and I'm super excited for the rest of the album because I've heard some things that people haven't heard."

Last night, an alleged tracklisting from West's album leaked online.

D*mn, the internets are a mofo. that is all....No, wait, that is not all. Ok, so this screengrab of Kanye's album tracklisting surfaces. This means that someone has managed to hack into presumably Hype Williams' network. That means that the entire album may be in their hands as well. Mark my words, if the entire Kanye West album leaks months early, not via an email hack, but a private network hack....I think this will be a watershed moment for music piracy and online security.

Drake's labelmate Nicki Minaj is reportedly featured on Good A** Job.

BET's Executive Vice President of Entertainment and Music Programming Stephen Hill was one of the lucky few invited to hear Mr. West's eagerly-anticipated new project. "He's got a track with Nicki Minaj that's so dope," he exclusively revealed to Rap-Up.com. "You won't believe it when you hear it." The executive has heard four cuts from the album, tentatively titled Good A** Job. "He comes back unapologetic and his performance [at the BET Awards] was stellar, absolutely stellar," he said. Hill described the direction as more reminiscent of the rapper's first three albums. "It's less like 808s & Heartbreak and more like Graduation."

Recently, Drake revealed his admiration toward West.

"I've never been so moved by a person's entire career. He's the guy I'll tell my kids about. His genius is to be feared."
