Shyne Name Drops 50 Cent On New Freestyle, "I Need A Couple Million, F*ck 50 Cents" [Audio]

Rapper Shyne has released a new freestyle to Alicia Keys' "Un-Thinkable" track in which he takes a shot at former rap rival 50 Cent.

On the track, Shyne dedicates one line to the current G-Unit leader.

Besides spitting game to a woman, he throws a jab at old rival 50 Cent. More than five years ago, 50 and Shyne traded disses around the time Shyne's Godfather Buried Alive was released, when Shyne was still behind bars. "I need a couple million, f--- 50 cents," he spits on the new track.
While incarcerated in 2004, Shyne explained dissing 50 on his "For the Record" track.

"I was just falling back, then I got word he said something he wasn't supposed to say," Shyne explained. "It's one thing if he would have said it and stood by it; 'That's what I said, you have a problem, whatever!' But he said it and at the same time he was trying to sign me to G-Unit Records. There's an interlude where Sha Money is calling me, 'Yo, 50 wants you to sign to G-unit.' He's reaching out to all my sets [in the street] trying to sign me to G-Unit. [50] used to rap about me before he got big. He tried to do a song with me, so he knows who I be."
The rapper made his official rap comeback with his new track "Messiah."

"I got the city on my back," Shyne raps. "Pretty women in the sack, rollin' in the Rolls/Sit, sittin' in my lap/This is not a rap fool, this a not an act/Welcome to New York blood, this is where it's at/Snitches take a nap with the fishes and the rats/Buried in the dirt where the witnesses is at/Hear the whistle when I clap from the missile that I pack/Once you violate, like a ribbon, it's a wrap/From Gangland to the Oval Office, next ten years I'ma control the market.."
Last February, music executive LA Reid inked Shyne to a recording contract with Def Jam.

"I have come here to stand by Shyne and to officially kick off our partnership with Island Def Jam Music Group and Gangland Records and so it is really an honour to be here, really very special place. I am here because great people are worthy of travelling many many miles for it and I come here to say that your country is great and I hope you guys know that this is a great man from your country who deserves this kind of respect and who deserves this kind of support. So that is why we are here."
