Drake Reveals "Miss Me" Lil Wayne Collabo, Says "Afrika Bambaataa" Is Not His Song

Young Money's Drake has revealed that "Miss Me" is the title of his Thank Me Later collaboration with incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne.

Drake disputed previous reports that the song was called, "Afrika Bambaataa."

"That's actually a Lil Wayne song," he explained in an interview referring to "Afrika Bambaataa." "I don't know where that confusion came from. I was just on set that day when he was shooting that video. That's not even my song. I'm not even on it, to be honest with you. Me and Wayne have a song on my album -- a song called 'Miss Me.' It's a pretty straightforward [song]. It's a song about being away from what you love and hoping that when you're gone, doing you, somebody out there misses you. It goes for Wayne in his situation and it goes for me in my situation, 'cause I'm on the road for I don't how long right now."
In February, Lil Wayne was shooting the video for "Afrika Bambaataa."

Lil Wayne's Shooting 7 More Videos: That's on top of the 10 he shot in two days the last time he thought he was going to jail. He says he just finished shooting the video for Runnin' off Rebirth that features Shanell and as of this video, he was about to shoot one for a Drake called "Afrika Boombata."
Drake's duet with The-Dream leaked online last month.

A new song by Drake featuring The-Dream is leaked. Titled "Shut It Down", the piece is produced by Noah "40" Shebib and Omen who also co-produced Alicia Keys' duet track with Drake, "Un-thinkable (I'm Ready)". The slow-jam song is reportedly not the final version but has been confirmed to be listed in the Canadian rapper's debut album "Thank Me Later".
His debut album is set to be released in June.

You'll now have to thank Drake a few weeks later than expected. The 23-year-old Canadian rapper/singer's long-awaited debut album, Thank Me Later, is now due to be released on June 15.
