Method Man Accused Of Shooting Female Fan W/ Pellet Gun

Wu-Tang Clan's Method Man has been accused of shooting a female fan multiple times with a pellet gun while she waited to receive an autograph from the rapper at a Texas concert.

Filed in Houston, the lawsuit also claims victim Mary Anderson had to undergo medical care for her injuries.

A fan of Method Man says the rapper shot her six times with a pellet gun as she waited for him to autograph her concert ticket and return it to her out the back window of his tour bus. Anderson says she "received no warnings prior to this incident and was without fault when (Smith) fired pellets into a crowd and struck Anderson in the torso." She says she suffered multiple injuries to her stomach and chest that required medical treatment. Anderson seeks punitive damages for assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and gross negligence. (Court House News)

Method Man has recently been spotted on "Rock The Bells" tour where he made headlines for squashing his past issues with Joe Budden.

"Yeah, me and Mef went, we walked out by the poison ivy and f*cking grass, we had a nice conversation," Budden revealed in an interview last month. "And you gotta do that 'cause often at times as artists, you communicate through the media and that can never be good. So we saw each other, we spoke about it like men, that sh*t is a done deal. That sh*t is over with...Me and Mef, we had mutual respect for one another, which is why the whole sh*t I did seemed a bit awkward. But nah, everything was cool."

Aside from his own touring, Mef previously said he would like to hit the road alongside Eminem.

"We're on the tour, man," Mef joking said in an interview. "We're gonna jump on Em's tour -- we're putting it out there. We do tour a lot. I'd say altogether 10, 11 months a year. Redman wants to go to Vegas!""

The rapper's latest collaboration album with Redman, Blackout 2!, landed on the charts earlier this year.

The "How High" duo Method Man & Redman's Blackout 2! marked another hip-hop comeback landing at No. 4. With a solid week under their belts, the rap veterans' return racked up 63,400 scanned discs.

No further information has been revealed regarding Method Man's lawsuit.
