The Game: A History Of Beef Pt.4
THE GAME VS YOUNG GUNZ (2005)
• Cause: Game sent shots at the Young Gunz on the same freestyle where he dissed Bleek again (”300 Bars”), fueling speculation that the rapper was trying bait Jay-Z by dissing his artists.
The Game feat. Katt Williams “Palm Pilot”
Young Gunz “Freestyle”
• Effect: Young Gunz responded in a freestyle, only to have The Game drop his “Palm Pilot” diss, featuring Katt Williams, who also felt dissed by the YGz’s “fake ass pimps like Money Mike” line in “Set It Off.”
THE GAME VS LIL SCRAPPY (2007)
• Cause: During Atlanta’s annual 107.9 Birthday Bash concert in 2007, The Game got Lil’ Scrappy heated when went into a “G-Unot” tirade onstage. Scrappy had just inked a joint venture with G-Unit and felt disrespected by the performance in his hometown.
• Effect: Sources say the two got into a shouting match backstage, but no disses were recorded and things never really progressed after that.
THE GAME VS SUGE KNIGHT (2005)
• Cause: When Yukmouth claimed on a track that Suge had assaulted Game, the tension became real. When the two crossed paths at a Steve Stoute party in L.A., one of Suge’s cronies allegedly tried to snatch Game’s chain.
The Game “My Bitch”
• Effect: Both were uninvited from Ciara’s party the next night and Game dissed Suge on the third verse of the Doctor’s Advocate leftover, “My Bitch.” The first two verses are for 50 Cent and Jay-Z. Game denied involvement in an unrelated incident afterwards where Suge was shot.
THE GAME VS TRIPLE H (2006)
• Cause: The wrestler sued the rapper over his name, which Triple H had been using as a nickname.
• Effect: Game suggested they take the beef to Pay-Per-View and fight in Compton so he could “fuck him up.”
THE GAME VS LIL EAZY E (2005 - 2006)
• Cause: Game and Eazy E’s son used to be homies and even made music together. Eventually the relationship turned sour because Lil’ Eazy E felt like Game was misusing his father’s name.
The Game “120 Bars”
Lil’ Eazy E “Coming From Compton”
• Effect: Game sent some shots at Lil’ Eazy E, amongst a slew of other artists, on “120 Bars” and E dropped a couple disses of his own. Game went on L.A. radio the next year to announce that the beef was squashed.
